About J R Tomlin
J R Tomlin is the author of twenty-five historical novels. Scotland serves as the main setting for J R Tomlin's historical novels. You can trace her love of that nation to the stories of Robert the Bruce and the Black Douglas her grandmother read to her when she was small, to living in Edinburgh for a time, and to hill-walking through the Cairngorms, where the granite mountains have a gorgeous red glow under the setting sun. In addition to spending time in Scotland, she has traveled in the US, mainland Europe, and the Pacific Rim. She now lives in Oregon. When not writing, JR keeps busy hiking, walking her Westie, and playing computer games.
